A European Schoolnet<\/a> e a Digital Europe<\/a> produziram e publicaram em Junho de 2012 um\u00a0Manifesto intitulado The e-skills Manifesto<\/a><\/i>. Deste documento, orientado para a ind\u00fastria e o mundo do trabalho, destacamos um extrato dirigido \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o b\u00e1sica e secund\u00e1ria, onde se alude \u00e0 import\u00e2ncia da explora\u00e7\u00e3o de novos espa\u00e7os e t\u00f3picos de aprendizagem, quest\u00e3o particularmente cara \u00e0s bibliotecas escolares que, neste dom\u00ednio, t\u00eam um importante papel a desempenhar:<\/div>\n

Students become more adept at managing and capitalising\u00a0on information. This cultivates an innovative mindset which will\u00a0increasingly be an important asset when entering the workforce. (…) A further\u00a0evolutionary step would be the integration of such learning elements\u00a0into curricula in support of organisational innovation in educational\u00a0institutions (e.g. exploring new learning spaces and topics), actually\u00a0driving innovation in education with the help of ICT.\u00a0<\/i>(p.80)<\/div>\n
